My Dad is 60 years old now. He's actually pretty fit for a 60 year old. Despite all his aches and pains he would still have a fairly good chance of schooling me on the basketball court. This is a picture of him when he was much younger. I often wish we lived closer together so that we could spend more time with each other.

Where did it go?

Where O where has my global warming winter gone? It has been rainy and cold here for 2 weeks now (where cold is defined as highs <60 and lows <40). Unable to face the rain and 36 degrees this morning, I ran on the treadmill. If we are going to have winter, I would prefer a real winter with snow to play in. Enough with the complaining...

Three Cheers for Global Warming

Here it is Jan 3 and I was jogging in shorts and a long sleeve shirt this afternoon! We are expecting rain tomorrow with a high of 65, followed by a high of 66 on Friday afternoon. This is really great weather. If global warming is to blame, I say give me more of it!
